Digital Curation: Definitions, Tools, and Strategies

I love the comment on the hydrant slide reading " getting information from the internet is like drinking from a fire hydrant".

Searches always bring TOO much information so you feel overwhelmed. Also, we now ALWAYS struggle in determining what is good information, and what is trash. We do indeed feel like we're drowning at times, or just being "hosed" by sites that just waste your time aggregating traffic. I wish there was a browser that would eliminate the needless flow of advertising and extraneous mind numbing trash!
